Parent & Me Class: Cooks and Books Series

Join us for an engaging four-week series, meeting every Sunday, designed especially for children in TK-2 and their parent or guardian. This class combines interactive themed cookbooks with fun, age-appropriate recipes and hands-on cooking activities. Each week features additional activities, such as crafts or read-along sessions, making this a well-rounded experience for your little chef.

With your help, your child will explore the basics of cooking, gaining confidence in and out of the kitchen. This February and March, we’ll dive into Lotta Nieminen's Cook In A Book series, an interactive and colorful collection of recipe books that make cooking a playful and educational experience.

About the Featured Series: Cook In A Book
Published by Phaidon, the Cook In A Book series combines simple instructions, vibrant illustrations, and interactive features like pull-tabs, wheels, and punch-out pieces, allowing children to practice the cooking process in a hands-on way. Titles in the series include: Pancakes! Pizza! Tacos! Spaghetti!
